Information for first responders

For fire, EMS, law enforcement, and towing personnel encountering one of our vehicles. This page is public and needs no login. If you need a human right now, call the number above — it reaches a person, not a menu.

Identifying our vehicles

If the vehicle is autonomous and stopped

  1. Call the responder line. We can confirm whether the vehicle is occupied, whether it is in a safe state, and whether it can be moved under its own power. This is faster than anything you can determine from outside.
  2. Do not assume it will move. An autonomous vehicle that has stopped has usually done so deliberately and will stay stopped. It is not idling in preparation to pull away.
  3. Occupants can exit at any time. Doors open from the inside. Passengers are not trapped by the absence of a driver.
  4. Placing the vehicle in a safe state — [TODO: insert the manufacturer's documented procedure. Do not publish a guess.]
  5. High-voltage isolation and cut-loop locations — [TODO: from the manufacturer's emergency response guide for this model. Include a diagram.]
  6. Towing — [TODO: manufacturer tow procedure, transport mode, and whether flatbed is required.] Call us before towing; in most cases we can have a responder on scene faster than a hook, and we cover the cost.

This section is under construction and will be completed from the manufacturer's emergency response guide before autonomous service begins. We would rather show you a gap than a guess.

Electric vehicle considerations

All our vehicles are battery electric. Standard EV response applies: treat orange cabling as energized, watch for thermal runaway signs after any significant impact, and be aware that a damaged battery can reignite hours later. Our vehicles should be monitored after a fire or serious collision rather than released immediately.

We will send someone to any scene involving one of our vehicles, regardless of fault or severity, and we will stay until you release it.

Law enforcement requests

For crash reports, video, or trip records, call the responder line and ask for the operations lead. For anything requiring legal process, contact legal@robotaxinwa.com. We retain trip and event data and will preserve it on request.

If you have cited or reported one of our vehicles, giving us the report number below closes the loop on our side and helps us fix whatever caused it.

Report a vehicle

Non-emergency. For anything urgent, call (555) 000-0000. If there are injuries, call 911 first.

Training and walkthroughs

We will bring a vehicle to your station and walk your crew through it, at no cost, any time. Email rides@robotaxinwa.com. We would rather your first encounter with one of these be in your own bay than on a highway at night.
